How These Services Benefit our Environment and You

Infiltration

This seals the envelope of your home. This helps keep your conditioned air inside your home so you rely less on your heating and cooling systems. It can also reduce pest infestions and dust.

Duct

This seals the duct lines, returns, and heating and cooling system. As a result, you are heating and cooling more of your home as opposed to your attic. Some duct systems can leak more than 30-40% of your cooled or heated air through the ducts into the attic. Therefore you can waste a lot of $ and energy heating or cooling your attic reducing your comfort level in your home. Properly sealing the duct system can also put less strain on your heating and cooling system.

Ceiling Insulation

Placing ceiling insulation to an R-30 also improves the comfort level in your home.  It helps keep heated and cooled air inside your home as well and provides the same benefits as duct and infiltration.
Light Bulb

Compact Fluorescent Bulbs (CFLs)

Installing CFLs reduce the wattage used but provide the same brightness as regular incandescent bulbs.  So again you save energy.  Another benefit is CFLs last up to 7 years where a typical bulb usually lasts a few months.  As a result, you have to change these bulbs less often.  CFLs also generate less heat so your home stays cooler during the summer.

Low-Flow Showerheads

Installing Low-Flow showerheads help reduce the amount of water that your water heater has to heat thus using less electricity.  They use less water so you are also conserving water.
